Our Comprehensive Firearms Safety Program

Firearms Safety Program Course Structure

The course itself will involve approximately four (4) hours of classroom instruction ending with hands on training and a multiple-choice test.  Although it is not required by law, we also offer introductory shooting instruction (which is optional) to the course. The introductory shooting involves single-action and double-action revolvers and semi-automatic handguns.

Upon Completion

Upon completion of the classroom portion of the course, the student will be provided a Basic Firearms Safety Certificate and Sight on Safety Training will submit the required paperwork to the Department of State Police.

(without Introductory Shooting Portion) $100.00
(with Introductory Shooting Portion) $125.00
Sights on Safety Training will provide firearms, ammunition, and safety equipment for the shooting portion of the class.
